An event at Bexleyheath Broadway!

On Tuesday, June 24th an event to launch the new Metropolitan Police initiative, MetEngage, was held in Bexleyheath Broadway Shopping Centre. The event was organised by Grant Murrell, Chairman of the Bexley Neighbourhood Watch Association, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police.
The SNT for Crook Log were on hand to offer invaluable advice and support to passing shoppers. They also distributed their Met Engage initiative flyers, providing further resources for community involvement. Madame Mayor of Bexley Borough, Cllr Christine Catterall, also attended to provide support to the initiative.
The highlight of the event was the appearance of Nick Stapleton, from the BBC programme Scam Interceptors. Visitors could easily access a wealth of resources, including leaflets and guides, and by scanning QR flyers displayed on the tables.

MetEngage

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Do you ever get frustrated trying to contact the police to report something?
If you've been on hold to 101 for what seems like hours, then there is another way, which has proved to be much quicker, report it online.
Click on the Met Contact Centre link above and you will be taken straight to the Met Police web site
Reporting Incidents via UK Met's X (formally known as Twitter) Account @MetCC.
